Gayleen and Simon gathered their family and friends together at The Old Mill in Napier, Hawke’s Bay to celebrate their marriage in a relaxed, informal and fun day.
In the morning, Gayleen prepared for the day with her best mates and her son Cullen in a lovely old villa in Napier with a glass or two of champagne. Simon and his best man Frog and his son and daughter, Adam and Jaime, got ready over a few beers at home in Havelock North.
Gayleen was thrilled to bits with her dress, made by her friend and wedding dressmaker Robyn. And so were we all!
We had a few ‘moments’ in the villa especially when Gayleen’s Dad, Lewis, arrived to collect her for the ride to the Old Mill in a vintage Rolls organised by Simon.
There were lots and lots of smiles and laughs during the ceremony with a couple of really beautiful and genuine vows from Mr. & Mrs. Best. Congratulations and celebrations then got underway in the rustic gardens of The Old Mill and as the sun went down we moved inside for great speeches and good food, wine and beer. I left just after the party was starting. I gather it was a long night 🙂
Here’s a few of my favourite images telling the story of their day. Another 300+ evocative images have been delivered to them via their personal online gallery.
Thanks Simon and Gayleen for investing in me for your Hawke’s Bay wedding photography. I had a lot of fun with you and your guests.
Congratulations!!
