Angelina and Jimmy married close to home at Millhills Lodge, Nr. Havelock North. They had a country/bush theme to the day as Jimmy is a keen hunter and they are both trampers. Jimmy proposed to Angelina high up in the Kawekas. Millhills was a perfect venue for them.
Angelina and her family are from the UK and her best friend, Leanne, from her UK schooldays flew over to be her Maid of Honour and her brother Alan also came over to MC the day. Angelina and the ‘girls’ all met up at Jones the Hairdresser in Napier and put the final touches together at home in Meanee where we met up with her three delightful flower girls. I spotted the Google Street View Camera Car pass the window of the house while they were getting ready and on realising we were in a No Exit Road and that he’d have to come back, I rushed the bridal party out to the gate and yes, they are going to be famous worldwide!
We all enjoyed a relaxed, beautiful ceremony under the pines and then after loads of congratulations and celebrations, Mr. and Mrs. Stephens took a bit of time out at the Plantation Reserve in Havelock North – a bit of local Hawke’s Bay bush! No hunting though.
Then it was back to good food, speeches, partying and dancing the night away.
Thanks Angelina and Jimmy for choosing me to photograph your day. I has loads of fun with your and your family and friends. Enjoy the images and the memories!
