Heather and Clive chose Eskdale Church for their wedding just up the road from where they live amongst the vineyards in Eskdale Valley near Napier. What a lovely family affair.
Heather was given away by her Mom, Peggy, who made her first ever trip overseas from the USA so see her beautiful daughter marry Clive. Clive’s two daughters, Georgia and Ali, were bridesmaids with his son Dan suited up in support and Clive’s sister Clare gave a lovely reading during the ceremony.
What a fun time getting ready at home in the morning! Hair, nails, make-up, hairspray, dresses, more hair, more nails, shoes, garters, more dresses, flowers, more hairspray … but most of all smiles … all morning long. Clive surprised Heather with some vintage wedding car transport and Heather’s church and Zumba friends turned up to wish her all the best when she arrived outside the church. More smiles. And check out Clive’s grin throughout the ceremony!
After the wedding, the bridal party headed off to their reception at East Pier, via the vineyards and the beach, where they were greeted by a smiling Zumba Stick honour arch (Heather runs Zumba classes in Napier/Hastings).
I had so such much fun and ended up smiling all day too. Here are a few of my favourite photographs telling the story of their wonderful day. The full 400+ images I have delivered are up on their personal wedding gallery on this site. Heather and Clive can give you the link.
